About me
Specializing in winds, I have composed for performers across the U.S. I won Second Prize in the 2005 Frank Ticheli Composition Contest for Repercussions and Third Prize in the 2003 Penfield Music Commission Project Composition Contest for Lighthouse Overture, and have received numerous ASCAP composer awards.
My studies took place at the Peabody Conservatory of Music (Master of Music in Composition; Master of Music in Music Theory Pedagogy) and Point Loma Nazarene University (BA). Additionally, I have worked as a professional engraver, taught private lessons, and played oboe in community ensembles.
I live in England with my wife Rachel and son Micah.
